Bruker Corporation Acquires Dynamic Biosensors GmbH
Bruker Corporation has announced the acquisition of Dynamic Biosensors GmbH, a company known for its innovative biosensor technologies based in Munich, Germany. The acquisition strengthens Brukers biophysical portfolio for analyzing molecular interactions and kinetics in drug discovery and basic research.
Dynamic Biosensors develops and markets technologies for studying complex molecular interactions and kinetics in drug discovery and research. The acquisition will enhance Brukers position in the pharma and biotech industries by combining Dynamic Biosensors instruments with Brukers Surface Plasmon Resonance (SPR) portfolio.
The funding will be used to further develop the biosensor business, leveraging Dynamic Biosensors cuttingedge technologies and Brukers global reach. Dr. Ralf Strasser and Professor Ulrich Rant from Dynamic Biosensors will be leading the efforts to integrate the two companies and develop a unique biosensor offering.
The investors in this acquisition were not disclosed, and financial details were not provided. The combined Bruker Biosensors business expects additional revenues of over $5 million from the acquisition in FY2025, with no material EPS impact.
