Cadence Design Systems Completes Acquisition of BETA CAE Systems International AG

Cadence Design Systems, Inc. has successfully completed the acquisition of BETA CAE Systems International AG, a leading provider of multidomain, engineering simulation solutions. The acquisition aligns with Cadences Intelligent System Design strategy, enhancing their multiphysics system analysis suite with complementary products. BETA CAE has a strong presence in the automotive vertical as well as in aerospace, industrial, and healthcare industries.

The acquisition of BETA CAE is expected to contribute approximately $40 million to Cadences 2024 revenue. While the transaction is anticipated to be dilutive by about 12 cents to Cadences 2024 earnings per share on a nonGAAP basis, it is projected to become accretive in 2025.
