Golden Minerals Company Agrees to Sell Silex Argentina S.A. to Butte Energy Inc.

Golden Minerals Company has entered into a definitive agreement to sell its whollyowned subsidiary, Silex Argentina S.A., to Butte Energy Inc. Butte will purchase 100% of Silex, which owns the El Quevar silver project in Argentina. The purchase price is set at US$3,500,000, with a nonrefundable deposit of US$500,000 already paid and an additional payment of US$500,000 due by September 27, 2024. The remaining US$2,500,000 will be paid upon closing of the transaction, which is expected by October 31, 2024. The transaction is subject to regulatory approvals.
